Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to every place in The Business Bible Volume 2 (Author, Featured Author and VIP Author), a collaborative book published by The Easiest Choice Publishing. By completing your purchase you agree to them.

1. The project

The Business Bible Volume 2 is a nine month project. You have four months to write your chapter, supported by kick-off training, co-writing sessions and draft feedback. The following five months are used for editing, proofreading, cover design and publication on Amazon in Kindle and paperback, followed by launch week.

What is included depends on your place. Author includes one chapter of around 3000 words. Featured Author includes an extra 2000 words, a 1:1 session to plan your chapter and a live interview during launch week. VIP Author includes everything in Featured Author, plus a 2 week personalised PR campaign with Chocolate PR and a 3 hour VIP Day. Session dates and formats may be adjusted where needed to support the group.

2. Your subject

There is one chapter per subject in the book. Your subject is secured once your payment (or first payment) has been received. Subjects are allocated on a first come, first served basis, and the final subject of your chapter will be agreed with Lyndsey.

3. Your chapter

Your chapter must be your own original work and must follow the submission guidelines you are given. You agree to submit your chapter by the deadline provided. If your chapter is not submitted by the final deadline, it may not be included in the book and no refund will be due.

4. Editing and publication

The editorial team reserves the right to edit and format every chapter for consistency, clarity and quality. You will be told about any substantial changes before publication. The publication timeline may change because of circumstances outside our control, but every effort will be made to keep to the schedule.

5. Copyright

You keep the copyright to your chapter. By taking part, you grant The Easiest Choice Publishing the right to publish, distribute and promote your chapter as part of The Business Bible Volume 2, in all formats, for the life of the book.

6. Payment

All prices are shown plus VAT. You can pay in full, or by 6 monthly payments. If you choose the payment plan, you are committing to all 6 payments, whether or not you continue to take part. Missed or failed payments may mean your participation is paused until your account is up to date, and your chapter may not be published until all payments have been made.

7. No refunds

Because of the collaborative nature of the project, and because your place and subject are held for you from the start, no refunds will be issued once your purchase is complete.

8. Promotion and launch

You agree to promote the book through your own networks, particularly during launch week. The team will also promote the book to give it the best possible exposure. Every one of Lyndsey's collaborative books has been an Amazon number 1 bestseller, but no specific ranking or sales result can be guaranteed.

9. Author copies

Author copies are not included in your place. You can buy copies of the book once it is published.

10. Respect and inclusion

Chapters must be respectful and inclusive of different perspectives. Content that is inappropriate or offensive will not be accepted. We expect everyone to treat each other with kindness and respect in sessions and in the author group. Anyone whose behaviour is disruptive or disrespectful may be removed from the project without a refund.

11. Changes to these terms
